Cillar de Silos is heir to the history of the territory in which it is based. A journey of hundreds of years, which today bears witness to tradition: from the production of wines for the Monastery of Silos in the 16th century to the origin of the winery in Quintana del Pidio in 1970.

Galician vineyards extend over 40 hectares in one of the sub-areas of the Designation of Origin Rías Baixas, on the right edge of the Miño River. The Pazo Torre la Moreira stands out amongst them. This historical building has fulfilled the defensive needs of the terrain since the 18th century. Nowadays, it serves as an emblem of our winery.

The winemaking Aragon family discovered that the only way to recover traditional values was to do so reconquering the past. So, they decided to restore an area of underground cellars from the 16th century in the historic wine village of Quintana del Pidio.

The Bodegas Mauro winery in La Rioja can be found in Baños de Ebro. It is the fourth project of the García family. The vineyards are divided into smallholdings, eight hectares spread over small plots with the different varieties of: Viura, Tempranillo, and Graciano. The bush vines range in age of from 40 to 100 years old and are planted on poor soils of calcareous-clay composition. The vineyards are organically cultivated with biodynamic practices and the use of animal traction for vineyard work.
